Day 1 - Luang Prabang - Namkat Yorlapa

MEETING AT SAFFRON CAFÉ

– 7h00 > 7h45 –

Meet at Saffron Café on the Mekong River for coffee of your choice from 07:00 am.to 07:45 am. and the journey begins at 07:45 passing through local villages where you can take in the authentic scenery of Laotian countryside.

DEPARTURE

– 7h45 –

Departure to Namkat Yorla Pa, on the way we will stop at Ban Lak 52 (Hmong village) 3 hours from Luang Prabang. You will see the daily life of the population and how they organized their village and built their houses to undergo to hot climate in summer and cold climate in winter.

LUNCH

– 12h30 –

Arrived at Namkat Yorla Pa, have lunch at the restaurant – (set menu). The restaurant located beside the swimming pool with stunning resort view and the natural stream surround._start”>

ACTIVITY

– 14h00 –

After lunch the guests have options to join the activities in the resort (book and pay direct to resort), or visit the Kamu village and their organic farm, experience the Kamu house and their daily life of take care the organic vegetable field by seasonal, or just relaxing and refreshing before dinner with culture dance show at 19h30.

Day 2 - NAMKAT YORLA PA – PAKBENG

SECOND DAY OF THE CRUISE

– DEPARTURE: 9h00 –

After Breakfast, Depart from Namkat Yorla Pa to the LuangSay lodge on the way will visit Ban Yor (Tai Lue) 2 hours from Nam Kat Yorla Pa, this village does some of pottery and weaving.

LUNCH

– 12h30 –

Arrival Loung Say Lodge, Pakbeng and have lunch by Laos’ cuisine will be served at Luang Say Lodge’s terrace with the stunning Makong River view.

LEISURE TIME

– 14h00 –

The guests have their own desire to walk and visit the Pakbeng Village, visit local market or visit Elephant sanctuary or relax in Luang Say Lodge.

SUNSET DINNER

– 19h00 –

After comeback from the visiting guest will have plenty of time to refresh, enjoy the scenery of the river and admire the surrounding nature. A Laotian dinner is served on the open-air terrace overlooking the Mekong River.

Day 3 - PAKBENG > LUANG SAY LODGE

LUANG SAY LODGE

– 07h00 –

Mornings are special times at Luang Say Lodge with stunning sights of the neighboring peaceful mountains, usually in the mist while a full breakfast is served on the expansive teak terrace.

CRUISE

– 08h00 –

The cruise departs for another day of nature discovery along the legendary river with two stops planned along the way to Luang Prabang.

TRADITIONAL LAOS VILLAGE

– 11h30 –

A few hours into the day after enjoying the sight of sparkling sandy shores, the river boat makes stops to visit the hill tribe village of Baw where you can watch the traditional process of making Lao whiskey.

LUNCH

– 12h30 –

Lunch is served on board in a buffet style with a selection of main course from Laos’ cuisine. A different choice of fish and meat dishes than on the first day is prepared for a greater culinary experience.

CAVES OF THOUSAND BUDDHAS

– 15h30 –

Opposite the mouth of the Nam Ou River, near Pak Ou village, the cruise stops to visit the Tam Thing cave. Translated as Rock Cave, it is famous for housing over 2,500 Buddha statues of all sizes and for being a place of pilgrimage for locals.

LUANG PRABANG

– 17h00 –

Following a day along the wide Mekong river with beautifully sceneries of mountains, wild nature, local life and delicious food, the cruise arrives at Luang Prabang, former imperial capital of Laos.
